Overview

Desky Clock is a Pomodoro-style focus timer Chrome extension. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what it does not do.

We do not collect any personal data.

Desky Clock does not gather, transmit, sell, or share any information about you or your browsing activity with any third party, server, or external service.

Permissions Used

Desky Clock requests the following Chrome permissions:

tabs Used solely to detect whether you are in an active video meeting (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) or watching media (YouTube, Netflix) so that break reminders can be delayed or prompted accordingly. No tab content, page text, or browsing history is read or stored.

storage Used to save your settings and stats locally on your device as described above.

alarms Used to schedule focus and break timers reliably in the background, even when the browser service worker is inactive.

notifications Used to display system notifications for focus session starts, upcoming break warnings, meeting detection, and your optional end-of-day summary.
